Yeah, Samsung is my favourite Korean team because I grew up in Suwon. If I was to choose one club it would be them. I don't follow them much now from here though.

Birmingham away in Carling Cup - just in front of our supporters and I had a long time to wait for my first goal in December. I was very very happy and we won the game. I am always happy to score in front of the supporters, even in away games. I was desperate to score goals as it was quite a long wait for my first one but I believed I could score and it came off for me against Birmingham. I believe I can score more goals.

I missed my friends and my family that was the biggest thing. I could find some Korean food and some Korean friends but the family was the biggest thing.

How was adjusting to English culture when you moved here to play for Manchester United?

Actually before I joined United, I was at PSV Eindhoven in Holland and it was quite similar in culture. When I came to Manchester it wasn't very different to Holland. When I went to Holland I noticed lots of differences in culture and it was difficult to adapt. But it was okay when I moved to Manchester. I could adapt to the English culture.

It's not a special number, it's just number 13. Yes, it's been lucky. I know 13 in western culture is unlucky but it's not bad in Korea. Number four is bad in Korea.

What was your reaction when you first heard that Sir Alex wanted to sign you?

I couldn't believe it. I didn't know why he wanted me to come. I was very happy to think I could go to a big club but he offered it to me and I couldn't believe it. I couldn't reject that offer because everyone wants to come to United. Actually when I spoke with him on the phone for the first time, I wasn't very good at speaking English then but he spoke very slowly but even then I could only understand little bits. I've been getting used to it but it's still difficult.

Wow, who is the best? There's a lot of players so it's difficult. I'll choose Giggsy. He's achieved a lot and his abilities - when  I came here he was 32, I can't imagine how good he was when he was 24-25, he must have been unbelievable. I am upset I wasn't here training with him then. He's still playing at a high level and showing his qualities.

I don't need to travel too far away. During international duty I can stay training in Manchester, it makes me more -fresh to prepare for the next game. It's a long season and they were long distances so I can save my health physically. I think it's quite a big thing for me at my age. Sometimes I miss not going back to see my family in Korea, sometimes I could do that for a short time on international duty. The last time I was back in Korea was in the summer.

My favourite music artist? I don't have one particular one. I listen to everything so I just can't choose one. Patrice organises the music in the dressing room, and sometimes it's good, sometimes not. Most of the time he's a good DJ and everyone is happy with that. He doesn't play Korean music though, he doesn't know anything about it.
